Description

Liquid Beeswax is a versatile furniture oil with beeswax, specially crafted to nourish and penetrate dry timber. Ideal for a wide range of timber and cane furniture, this food-safe liquid beeswax comes with citrus terpene, which not only smells fantastic but also inhibits mould growth. Used for nourishing and preventing cracking and splitting in raw timber.

Application

Before application, ensure that the surface is clean and dry.

Apply using a soft cloth or brush on irregular areas. Let the oil soak into the timber for five minutes before buffing it back with another clean cloth. If the timber is new or dry, apply three coats, repeating the same procedure. Each timber has varying porosity and dryness, so the number of coats required will differ. Avoid over-applying, as residue can become sticky and attract dirt. Dry time between coats is 5-10 minutes.

Gilly’s Liquid Beeswax can be reapplied as frequently as required if the timber becomes dull or dry. There is no need for any extra work; follow the simple steps above. Reapply a light coat every 4-6 months to keep your timber looking fresh. The more oil that has been applied over time, the less maintenance it will require.

Clean Up with warm, soapy water for hands and application cloths.
